History

2020-Ningbo Jiwen enters the fast lane and takes lightweight new materials and battery shells as its core strategic expansion.

2019-The Hangzhou Bay plant was put into production in small batches, and the permanent site of the new material lightweight project in a joint venture with Europe was selected at the Yuyao Zhongyi Industrial Park. It was supported by the government's policy on building factories and independent of equity.

2017-Confirmed the lease of the Hangzhou Bay factory, and successively obtained orders from the Yangtze River Delta region such as SAIC Volkswagen, Byton, Chehejia, Gestamp, Faurecia Seats, etc., and steadily expanded Ningbo Jiwen business.

2016-Obtained a strategic order from Volvo and Geely to jointly develop the body frame of 9 models on the CMA platform, and launched the Hangzhou Bay Plant (Ningbo Jiwen) project.

2014-Entered Volvo's Asia-Pacific supplier system and began to participate in the simultaneous development of next-generation models of Geely's European Technology Center. Gibbon was established to be responsible for technology development.

2007-Growing into a core supplier of FAW-Volkswagen, involved in body frame and four-door two-cover business.

2000-Obtained the FAW-Volkswagen Class A supplier qualification.

1995-The parent company Changchun Jiwen Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was established in Changchun.
